Drew spent a decade in public practice accounting working with hundreds of businesses. Dana honed her hiring and operational skill set working for AON, West Fraser and a host of other companies. What we always chewed on was how do you take a simple concept, like great bookkeeping, and scale it. Why couldn't bookkeeping be straightforward and accurate? Why did businesses struggle with bookkeeping and bookkeepers so much? Then in 2017, Dana and I started Notanobo to fix bookkeeping.
